Interview with Prof. Björn Ambos (CEMS Academic Director of WU Wien)
What are the benefits of doing a CEMS Master in International Management? What makes CEMS special? Graduates of the Master's Program in International Management/CEMS are extremely well-qualified for a professional career in a culturally diverse environment. After completion of this program, they should have the necessary skills to become business leaders in a global environment. What makes our program unique is the joint offer of our MSc in International Management (WU) along with CEMS MIM into one two year program. Thus, students do not only benefit from our local expertise but also have the opportunity to study a term abroad at one of our CEMS partner schools, obtain business experience through an international internship, skill seminars with corporate partners and a business project. They also have a chance to engage in a global student/alumni community that will last for a life time. It remains to be said that you of course, also obtain two degrees - the WU MSc and the CEMS MIM – in one program, which is count as an extra asset for the job market.

Interview with Matthias Kraetschmer (CEMS Student of the WU Wien)
Why did you choose the CEMS Master in International Management? The CEMS program represents the capstone of my education in International Business Administration. As an International Master degree, CEMS facilitates the process of applying for jobs and internships in countries other than Austria, which do not have a program similar to our four-year diploma-studies. Adding this 5th year of education to my curriculum eases the transferability of academic records to other educational systems. Moreover, four distinct components made me choose the CEMS Master: foreign language exposure, cultural sensitivity, a pan-European network of fellow students and contact to a large variety of corporate partners.

Interview with Vilma Virtanen (Helsinki School of Economics)
Why did you choose the CEMS Master in International Management? Some of my friends were doing CEMS before me and I only heard positive things from them. What interested me most is that the program is so international: studying a year with students from different countries, doing another exchange semester and also an internship abroad. I didn't want to graduate yet and go to work for the rest of my life, so CEMS was also a good idea to stay in the relaxed studying life a bit longer. And since I had the opportunity at my home university, Helsinki School of Economics, to apply for the program, why not?
