CEMS Knowledge Forum
CEMS Alumni and Students host once a year the CEMS Knowledge Forum at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien to build a platform "Where experience meets innovation". The event combines a panel discussion about a leading-edge management topic and in-depth workshops hosted by academics and practitioners. A social event (dinner and clubbing) provides opportunities for fun and networking.
- The CEMS Knowledge Forum 2005 took place at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien on November 11 and 12. Global Marketing-driven Companies was the panel topic discussed by high-level representatives of Coca-Cola, McDonald's, eBay and WU Wien. The Saturday workshops spanned e.g. the themes of China goes West, Efficient Consumer Response and Work-Life Balance.
- The CEMS Knowledge Forum 2004 at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien on November 26 and 27 was devoted to Networks and strategic alliances. On Saturday ten workshops ranging from Corporate Social Responsibility to Branding to Executive Search provided valuable input to both CEMS Alumni and Students.
- The CEMS Knowledge Forum 2003 on November 28 and 29 discussed the upcoming entry of Central and Eastern European countries into the EU under the label of Do you CEE [see]?.
Kaffeesiederball - International Vienna Weekend
Each year, we invite the CEMS community to one of Vienna's most prestigious balls, the Kaffeesiederball. You do not have to be an expert in dancing the Waltz (of course we will be happy explaining it to you in a short introductory lesson), just walking around and enjoying the royal atmosphere or partying in the ball disco is an attraction by itself. In addition to the ball, a guided program for an exciting weekend in Vienna is organized for international participants.
Other Activities
CEMS Alumni will organize a monthly get togethers such as bowling, cooking, wine-tastings or "Punsch" as well as sports and cultural events Professional events include rotation dinners, lectures and career coaching.
