Why did you choose the CEMS Master in International Management?
Some of my friends were doing CEMS before me and I only heard positive things from them. What interested me most is that the program is so international: studying a year with students from different countries, doing another exchange semester and also an internship abroad. I didn't want to graduate yet and go to work for the rest of my life, so CEMS was also a good idea to stay in the relaxed studying life a bit longer. And since I had the opportunity at my home university, Helsinki School of Economics, to apply for the program, why not?
What experiences did you get so far from the programme?
Everything's been just what I expected. I've got to know lots of new interesting people from many different countries, had good courses and seminars with an international aspect, and I like studying with the CEMSies - they are smart and motivated. But it's not all about studying - I've been to fun parties as well and in two weeks everybody's going to Paris, to the annual event of the CEMS programme. I'm going to meet there all my friends who are doing the CEMS in different countries.
How do you like studying at the WU?
WU is super! It's so much bigger compared to HSE (we have only about 500 new students a year) but still it doesn't affect the quality of the courses - I've had only small groups and good lecturers. Life outside WU is also great. I've completely lost my heart to Vienna, it's such a lovely and beautiful city with so much to do - and the wine is much cheaper than in Helsinki! ;)
