Program Part 1 (organized by SMC):

Thursday, May 28 (starting at 1:00 p.m.)

  • Arrival of students in Vienna
  • Visit the production plant of Siemens Mobility in Vienna
  • Informal dinner with SMC in Vienna

Friday, May 29 (8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)

  • CEMS Skill Seminar with SMC (accredited as 1 day Skill Seminar) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration

Program Part 2 (Ironman organized by CCV):

Friday, May 29

  • Departure from Vienna to Palfau directly after the SMC Skill Seminar (around 6:15 p.m.)
  • BBQ organized by CCV

Saturday, May 30

  • Teambuilding workshop organized by CCV
  • Rafting Tour (guided)
  • Dinner Buffet
  • Campfire Chill Out

Sunday, May 31

  • High Rope Garden (guided)
  • Return to Vienna by 5:00 p.m.
  • Departure of students from Vienna

Note 1: Participants of the SMC Event are guaranteed a place in the Ironman.

Note 3: Price includes: accommodation in Vienna on Thursday, transport Palfau Vienna, accommodation for two nights with breakfast in Palfau, BBQ, buffet dinner, rafting tour and high rope garden (both guided tours);

Note 4: Payment is due after selection process via bank transfer (you will receive a separate email with all information).

Note 5: It is also possible to take part only at the SMC Event (without Ironman). Please indicate this in your application. The SMC Event (including overnight on Thursday) will be free of charge; travel is to be arranged individually and at your own cost.

Participation fee: 150€ (only Ironman)

Note 2: We have only very limited places for this event, as students accepted to the SMC event will have guaranteed places (students studying in Vienna this semester and students having access to a car are given priority – in order to organize car-pools).

Other useful information

Don‘t forget to take your swimming suit, towel, sport shoes and optionally cycling gloves. For those of you wearing glasses or contacts, please make sure not to lose them during the rafting tour.
